It was over in a flash. The just-over three hour 84th annual Academy Awards telecast provided precious little surprises -- Meryl Streep's victory over Viola Davis not withstanding -- as both "The Artist" and "Hugo" took home five awards each. For "The Artist," that handful of trophies included major awards like Best Director (Michel Hazanavicius), Best Actor (Jean Dujardin) and Best Picture.
